Whilst you are likely to only find sizes 12mm and 14mm in the high street shops, many of our own tongue bars are available in sizes as low as 6mm, right through to 20mm and beyond. This means no more excess bar showing! Simply choose your desired size by selecting from the ‘Size‘ drop-down box.

How long after tongue piercing can I give oral?

A standard tongue piercing is a little easier to care for because placing the piercing in the centre of the tongue is safer. There is less contact with teeth and the inside of the mouth, so the initial healing period is faster with swelling reducing in just 2-4 weeks.
How tight should a tongue bar be?
A downsized bar should be snug but not dig in. I didn’t downsize for nearly 8 weeks. The worst of the swelling was gone after 10 days but my tongue didnt truly shrink back to normal for 8 weeks.
